The place of an accident is dangerous not only for the injured.
Stop in a safe place as close as possible to the road shoulder, turn on the hazard warning lights, apply the handbrake, wear a reflective vest and mark the accident with a warning triangle.
Ensure security at the accident site so that you will not endanger your life, your traveling companions and others at the site or passing drivers.
Only then can you begin helping the injured.
